What do you write as a first entry in a Blog? Another good question is: What language do I use? English? Portuguese? Should I tell you what I´m going to be writing about in future posts? Should I mention a few of my interests? Refer how often I´ll be writing? Is there a Blog-netiquette manual? ...
All I can say right now is that this all new to me and that it will obviously take some time till I find my own way to express myself here in this new "Room". Let´s just say I´m still decorating: deciding on the paint colour, the furniture, the appliances, etc. But, as in the real world, I like my guests to feel welcome. So please, come in, take ur shoes off, sit down, have a drink and enjoy. No pre-established rules as to what I´ll be speaking about. Anything from music, films, TV, dancing, politics, current affairs, sex, food, holidays, sports, cars, bikes, friends, family, ... Sometimes I´ll blog in English, others in Portuguese. Some things are best said in one language rather than the other... Certo? ;-) I´ll probably, sometimes, post multiple times a day, just as sometimes weeks, months might go by between posts. You´ll probably not always agree with my points of view nor like my opinions but that´s what´s cool about these blogs: You don´t have to! LoL
In a way a blog is kinda scary, isn´t it? The total freedom to write what you want, putting it all out there for the world to see... scary stuff that... Having an "editor" would probably come in handy, but this is a blog, there are no editors, there´s no safety net. I kinda have a bad habbit of once I start writing I kinda just keep going... and going... So forgive me my ramblings ;-)
In conclusion this is actually a beginning. The first of many "Rooms", preferably in your company, so once again, thanks for stepping into my room, thanks for stepping into my life! ;-)
